Fun fact: Druids found mistletoe sacred because it had berries during winter - they would cut it down exactly six days after the Winter Solstice in a 'Golden Sickle' ceremony - but never allow it to touch the ground, as they believed this would bring them bad luck.  It's thought this is where the tradition of hanging mistletoe up for a quick smooch derived.
